A little burn-out after 10 days hard-working

Yesterday was pretty productive, and I managed to knock out some key tasks. However, after a streak of 15-16 hour workdays, the burnout and headaches finally hit yesterday evening, so I had to take a break.

The thing is, I didn’t actually ‘rest’—even in bed, I was still on my phone managing things. Being too driven can be a double-edged sword when you don’t know how to hit the brakes.

Also, don’t assume working with AI makes life easy. There are plenty of tasks within the Unity Editor that AI just can’t handle yet, meaning you’re still doing the heavy lifting. Plus, once a project hits a certain scale, the AI starts hallucinating, and you have to constantly babysit it to keep things on track.

Pro tip: Once the planning is done, have the AI document everything in a TASK_NAME.MD file. That way, you (or the AI) can refer back to it later, because after a few sessions, it’ll definitely forget what the hell it was doing today.

Back to level design today. Good day.
